Claims EDI Configuration 

edgeMED uses the EDI 837 file to send your claims data electronically to the clearinghouse. The 837 file contains claim information, including, subscriber, payer, provider, location, and previous payment data in a format compliant with the HIPAA requirements for the electronic transmission of protected health information (PHI).
