edgeMED Healthcare awarded contract by the United States General Services Administration
Boca Raton, Florida — Revenue Cycle Management and healthcare technology vendor, edgeMED Healthcare (edgeMED), is pleased to announce that it has been awarded a Multiple Award Schedule (MAS) contract by the U.S. General Services Administration (GSA), the procurement arm of the federal government. The five-year contract allows federal customers to efficiently purchase revenue cycle management services from edgeMED. As a GSA Schedule contract holder, edgeMED can provide government agencies with its expert medical billing and collections service to improve financial and operational outcomes.
The GSA establishes long-term government-wide contracts with commercial companies. As a pre-approved vendor, edgeMED extends numerous benefits, including cost-effectiveness, to various agencies and branches of the federal government, as well as state and local governments through applicable programs and volume discounts. In addition, edgeMED’s status as a small business enables the federal government to meet socioeconomic goals.
